Take a seat

Put exactly one seat's worth of $SQZ into the contract. The gauge goes up by one. It's locked for 7 days, then you can take it back out whenever you like.

The gauge hits a mark

The seat that reaches a mark fires it in the same transaction. A pre-set slice of the reserve goes to the burn address, and the tipping wallet is recorded forever.

Everyone seated gets the stamp

Every wallet that was in the gauge at that moment earns that mark's stamp, on chain, permanently. Leaving later doesn't lose it.

It counts seats, not holders.A contract can't count the holders of a token. So it counts wallets that have put a seat in. A seat costs real tokens and is locked, so the count can't be farmed with dust wallets.
A whale can buy many seats.Nothing stops one person using many wallets. Each one costs a full seat, locked for 7 days. That's the cost of faking the count, and it's a real one.
Your seat is never burned.Only the reserve burns. The seat you put in is yours, and it comes back in full when you leave after the lock.
The reserve can only burn.Nobody, including the deployer, can take tokens out of the reserve. They leave one way: to the burn address, at a mark.
The marks may never be reached.If the gauge stalls, the unfired share of the reserve stays in the contract forever. It can't be sold, but it isn't burned either. That's said here so nobody finds out later.
This is not a price target.A mark is a seat count. Nothing here promises anything about price, and a burn doesn't mean the price goes up.
No owner. No switches.No admin, no pause, no upgrade, no rescue function. The marks, the seat size and the lock were set when it was deployed and can't be changed. That also means it can't be fixed.
Stamps are a record, not an asset.A stamp is a bit stored against your address on chain. It isn't tradeable and isn't worth anything. It just proves you were there.
